This was a beautiful documentary about the caves in France that hold some of the most stunning and intact cave art in the world.  The film was far more lavish and enjoyable than it should have been.  As hokey as director Werner Hertzog can be, his wide-eyed pensiveness worked in the narration here.  I don’t know that I would ever see it twice but I am really glad I saw it once.
