Let them eat cake! Maybe a moderate republican for Sec of Defense? A Libertarian Republican for Sec of Education? I for one would like to see what a small injection of Libertarianism would do for our country. Probably alienate both liberals and conservatives.

I will give Brin credit for a unique idea but, ultimately, I doubt it would work. In fact, I think McCain would be insulted by it. Let him accept defeat with dignity, don’t throw him a bone, particularly one that we all know would be as meaningless as the one Brin suggests.
